/ˈhəːmɪtɪdʒ/ (noun) the dwelling of a hermit, especially when small and remote
Hermitage Press is a small, traditional publishing house based in Cornwall, UK.
Our mission is to give a home to writers that currently live and work in the region. The county has a long history of inspiring both novelists and poets to produce some of their best work, including: William Golding, John Betjeman, Daphne Du Maurier, Winston Graham, Mary Wesley, Patrick Gale, Michael Morpurgo and John Le Carre.
The team consists of a range of freelance writers, authors, editors, formatters, cover designers, illustrators, photographers and printing specialists with many years of experience in the industry and is in the process of launching its first portfolio of local authors, covering adult and children’s fiction, as well as poetry.
Please check our submissions page for instructions on how to become part of our exciting future. Alternatively, you can use our contact form if you have any questions.
